Holidays in in Bali is so much fun but when you start to feel hungry after all your exploring and shopping around Canggu & Seminyak you will definitely need to refuel and find a cafe or restaurant to stop for brunch. Brunching in Bali is a big deal. You burn so much energy doing things that you simply can’t wait for lunch, hence brunch is such a great idea. The whole of Bali has some great places for brunch but the team at Bali Villas online thought we would highlight a few of our favourite brunch hangouts that are simply delicious.

This place is an institution in Canggu and if you happen to be staying in one of our Canggu villas then you have to make your way to Shady Shack. The place is set among the rice fields in a quieter area of Canggu so you can sit back and settle in to one of the healthiest vegetarian meals in Canggu. Here you can graze of mouthwatering vegan and raw food options; salads, juices, smoothies, delicious wraps and other vegan delights. The place is packed from morning till night as the food is just so good and to make things even more appealing for your brunch it’s really well priced. So after your morning swim or surf at Echo or Old Man’s beach or your Hatha Yoga session at The Practice make your way over the Shady Shack for the best brunch in Canggu!
We recommend The Nori Bowl – so fabulous!!!
Location: Jalan Padang Linjong, Canggu, Bali
Open: 6am – 5pm
Crate Cafe is a hipsters paradise and is the second cafe opened up by these guys that created the popular Pretty Poison bar. It’s a concrete style shell filled with tables overlooking the rice fields and the whole cafe is teeming with hungry customers all wanting their fill of coffee, juices, salads and filling vegan dishes. The menu is painted on the wall and the good news for our hungry Canggu holiday makers is that most dishes are around Rp 50, 000 or for us Aussies that’s $5!! How good is that! The vibe is fun, young, upbeat and happening. It’s the perfect places to people watch as you sip on your turmeric shot. Get in early as it’s busy busy busy!
We recommend: Vegan scrambled Tofu with smashed Avo and Cherry Tomatoes on Toast.
Tamora Gallery, Jl. Pantai Berawa

This new brunch hang out is on the southern part of Canggu in the area of Berawa. Brand new the owners are keen to impress with their level of customer service, affordable and scrumptious dishes, smoothies and coffee. There is a huge long table running the length of the cafe where people hang out, check their emails and enjoy the unique ambiance of Berawa. The wifi is really good here so if your a digital nomad this is the perfect place to do your work while having brunch.

The Corner House
Location: Jalan Kaya Ayu no.10A, Seminyak, Bali
Open: 7am – 11pm
Located at the top of Eat Street the Corner House is the perfect place to stop for brunch after spending the morning shopping along Jalan Kayu Aya. Spread over 2 levels the place is large with a authentic colonial feel. Staff are friendly and the menu is extensive with AMAZING coffee. The Corner House is one of the most popular work / eat cafes in Seminyak and the vibe is relaxed, come as you are and tuck into really good food.
We recommend: The Green Breakfast
Location: Jalan Kayu Cendana no. 7, Seminyak, Bali
All we can say is look at this place from the outside and you’ll get a good idea of just how popular it is. Sisterfields is without a doubt the most popular cafe / restaurant in Seminyak. Check the crowds, the queues, the need for parking attendants. Everyone comes to Sisterfields and the reason is the food is just so darn good! Opposite the newly built Seminyak Village, it’s a great place to stop for brunch as it’s right in the heart of Eat Street. By the time you get there you’ve probably walked off your breakfast and in need of o top up brunch.
We recommend: Sisterfields Dirty Burger
Both Seminyak & Canggu have so many places where you can brunch, basically there are far too many to mention here but these should get you started. If your a newbie to Bali definitely try these out and if you want other places to brunch it’s a good idea to perhaps speak with your villa manager who will be able to point out other really good places to eat.
