About Villa Pursang
Villa Pursang is a divine little haven that’s absolutely perfect for a well-deserved family vacation. Nestled amongst luscious rice fields in the sleepy village of Pererenan, Villa Pursang will give you and your family a serene and authentic Bali experience.
Inside this superb villa you’ll find four comfortable, well-appointed ensuite bedrooms housed in two separate buildings. The master bedroom is connected to a smaller kid’s room, making this property the perfect location for families with young children. The generous living room, breezy outdoor veranda, modern kitchen and enchanting outdoor area will both satisfy and tantalize you.
You’ll find that the villa is built from the very finest materials, from the ecru marble flooring, antique solid wood furniture to the contemporary bathroom finishes and modern kitchen appliances. Nothing was spared in designing and constructing this gorgeous sanctuary that seamlessly fuses a rustic Balinese style with modern luxury living.
Villa Pursang is overflowing with gorgeous tropical greenery and guests can take in breathtaking views of the rice terraces while they relax poolside. You’re also only a 5-minute drive from Pererenan beach, with its glistening volcanic black sands and unbeatable views of the Bukit Peninsula.
The bedrooms at Villa Pursang were built to provide you with ultimate comfort. The rooms are fully air-conditioned and extremely spacious with lots of natural light. One of the rooms is furnished with a plush king-size bed that’s suited to parents, another two with queen size beds, and the last is connected to the master bedroom and contains two single bunk-beds that are perfect for younger children. All of the beds other than the bunk beds are netted for extra privacy and comfort.
The opulence continues into the ensuite bathrooms, which are marble throughout and contain impressive hotel-style Jacuzzi tubs and twin marble basins. The bathrooms contain all the amenities you’d expect plus the extras you deserve.
The indoor living area at Villa Pursang is incredibly cozy and inviting. An impressive taupe suede sofa wraps around a wooden coffee table in front of the TV and appears to be the perfect place for a mid-afternoon nap; a spot of reading or for enjoying a movie with loved ones. The generous sizing means there’s lots of space for the children to run around and play, or for laying down a yoga mat so you can practice in air-conditioned comfort.
Glass sliding doors separate the indoor living space from the outdoor veranda and dining area. Here you’ll find a cushioned rattan, L-shaped sofa and several chairs that overlook the garden below and provide guests with a lovely, breezy space to enjoy a drink or a game of cards in the evenings. To the left is the dining area, which contains a solid wood table, that seats up to eight people. It’s a superb setting for enjoying a meal that you’ve lovingly prepared in the fully equipped kitchen. Alternatively, you can order take-away from a myriad of great restaurants and enjoy a no-fuss meal.
The outdoor space at Villa Pursang is truly something to behold. The crystal clear rectangular shaped pool sits between two areas of perfectly manicured garden that the kids will enjoy running around in and exploring. The four sun loungers under the parasols are an ideal spot for sunbathing or simply enjoying some shut-eye in the shade with a beverage. To the right of the pool is a charming alang-alang style balé containing a day bed for ultimate relaxation. From there you can enjoy the stunning views of Bali’s famous rice terraces that lie only a few meters beyond this estate.
A retreat at Villa Pursang will be made extra special by the wonderful team of staff. The housekeeper, villa manager, pool attendant and gardener are constantly working hard to provide guests with a relaxing, no-fuss experience. The house will be kept spotless throughout your stay and your villa manager will have the answer to whatever queries you may have. Don’t hesitate to ask him about excursions and day trips or to help with any bookings.
Pererenan is a charming, rural village that still holds the charms of “old” Bali. It’s scattered with stunning rice terraces and is far from the maddening hustle and bustle of Kuta or Seminyak. Here you can truly enjoy a revitalizing and relaxing experience, but with Canggu only a five-minute drive away, you’ll never be short of exciting activities when the time calls. Guests are also only 15-minutes away from one of Bali’s most famous temples: Tanah Lot. The temple is half submerged in the sea and provides an absolutely mesmerizing view at sunset.
Within Canggu you’ll find a terrific range of restaurants, cafés and bars to suit everyone. Milk and Madu is a family-friendly little café that’s great for a spot of brunch. They serve up amazing eggs benedict and top-notch coffee. Old Man’s at Batu Bolong is perfect for wandering in sandy and wet for a cold coconut after enjoying some time at the beach. They also make a great serve if fish ‘n’ chips and provide comfortable beanbags and couches for relaxing.
